Anybody have opinions on the pro-cons of FRS/GMRS vs Bluetooth for bike to bike coms? This is something I want to know before we go drop the cash on either system.

My wife and I ised FRS for bike to bike at first. While it worked, we couldn't find great headsets that fit in the helmet AND worked all the time. That and it is PTT so it's one-way conversation.
Then I bought the Scala Q2 Multiset for the two of us. What a difference! It still has a few quirks but so long as you have line of sight and less than a half mile between you, they work great. And, it is normal conversation like on a regular phone. The newer models allow group conversation, more devices connected and better distance.
They still have my testimonial up on their site form last year's Deal's Gap incident. :tup:

We really enjoy riding with them. They game me two more headsets (not the BT modules) and two car chargers at no charge for letting them post that testimonial.

I think the G4 also offers stereo bluetooth ( read 2.1 version vs 2.0 version) in addition to group conversation/conference call.
