GenII "HOTSEAT"....Help?!?

I have a 2010 FZ1. After riding long enough for the engine to reach full operating temperature, the heat from the engine starts turning the seat into an oven burner! I know I'm not the only person to notice this, but I haven't seen any posts about it. I have a friend who has an 08' R1, who has the same problem with his bike.

Has anyone found a successful way to remedy this problem?

Wear pants lol . JK man I have never really experienced that hot of a seat before but I do very little intown cruzing so my suggestion is (if you haven't already) hit some nice twisties at a legal speed

Yea, when riding in traffic it can become quite unbearable, but still not nearly as bad as the R1. I have thought about trying to line the underside of the seat with some heat reflecting tape. However, it hasn't bothered me enough to actually do it.

Adjuster@FZ1OA used some old car sunshade and put some cutouts around the tank area between the frame and below the seat to shield the exhaust heat. It is a trial and error until you get it correctly. I want to do this but I am not sure about the exact way to insert those cutouts.
