Great comparison but I agree with VA I find the Contour too saturated and lacks (just a bit) on clarity.
Good taste in Canons VA I bought the 7D as a back up for my IDMKIII for birds in flight these days the MKIII is the backup for the 7D best bang for the buck out there.
