Horex VR6

I would ride it looks pretty sweet besides the tail section.

Yeah the tail kind of dribbles off.

I'm curious to see how this goes over. I assume they are owned by a much larger company or maybe an investment group that is looking for losses?

I just don't see how they can make a profit.

<<edit>> found it: http://www.horex.com/en/manufactory/partners.html

VW, Rolls, Mahle, Bosch, Motul, BANK11, etc...

249 kg plus fuel, so total more than 260 kg.
A bit too much for a modern naked, in my opinion.

So you want Horex to build a 1200cc 6 cylinder luxury supercruiser with premium materials and accents, big forks & brakes, big wheels & tires and all that bling and you want it to weigh less than an S1000RR?

That's some crazy talk :dontknow:

I'd love to run it through its paces but would I buy one? Not likely. Heck, I'd love a VMax but when I have to fill up twice to get out of tiny NH, well, suddenly that much torque/HP for an "around town" $20k bike does seem like a waste of funds. ;)

Maybe didn't notice it was meant to be cruiser-ish

260 kg is still a lot of kg.

Oh, I agree with that. The thing is, it's only 25 kg more than a gen 1 FZ1. That's not half bad for something with so much power and torque. I'm sure they could have shaved weight off but at what expense?

It funny once my VX is moving it's not too bad. Pushing it around the garage it's a pig. I suspect the Thorax is the same.
