How long until one runs out of gas??

I agree, it just makes me SICK to hear about the higher range of the Gen I jk.

When I ride with the gen2's, they usually need to fill up and I still have half a tank of gas. When I ride with the fjr's we fill up at the same time, I think they have about a quarter tank or less when I need gas.

I won't even mention riding with the cruisers, they're on par with the Gen2s! :tup:

I dont complain about the lack of range on my Gen 2, as it coincides with me loosing all feeling in my backside, lower back and knees due to the rock hard seat.

Everything can be eased in one easy stop every 110 miles or so.

Rofl I usually get to 100 miles on my 07. Never ran it dry though, filling her up is a pain as well. The auto cut off at the gas station stops way before its full. I can easily squeeze in another 3-4 liters.
When touring/having fun I do 130 miles max. the 100 is only home->work. include A LOT of traffic lights, and every time I have to stop I imagine being at a drag strip.

On last May's trip to Utah I would go on reserve (light) at about 140-150 miles. It's a Gen II with PCIII etc.
