Yeah, I hear you. I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with a solution. I'm a bit mixed; I have no issue with a naked bike as 90% of my riding is city commuting, but on the occasional distance ride it's nice to have a little protection. My blue FZ1 has a very short windscreen but it provides just enough to keep the jetstream off of my body. This is why I'm looking at the Tracer 9... but realistically I'm not buying a new bike for a long time. Every time I'm intersted and think about it, even test riding new bikes, I get back on my FZ1 and ride it home and realize it's perfectly fine.I like the looks of the Honda Hornet SP. Ticks a lot of boxes. Not sure how much I’d like not having a fairing on long rides.

That's pretty much where I am. At 65 I'm not getting any younger and the FZ does everything I need it to do.Yeah, I hear you. I'm sure the aftermarket will come up with a solution. Me neither on the ABS.Have never experienced a bike with ABS.
Traction control, and cruise control would be nice as well.
Indian FTR1200Area this topic belongs in hasn't been posted in like a decade, and what else we have to talk about? lol
So, if the G-Man came today and took your FZ1, along with every other one in the world, and gave you a check for a new bike, what would you buy? Lets keep it brand new, cause why not.

looks fun.Indian FTR1200View attachment 35329
I also own an XSR900, 2022. Still working on mods, but it never ends.Ditto.
But, it's not like I don't already have other choices.![]()
I agree. If my 06 had had all these latest electronic controls I would have never gotten rid of her. My 22 XSR900 pretty much has it all but the comfort.Have never experienced a bike with ABS.

I had an 09 Suzuki 1250 Bandit with ABS, that ABS saved me from sliding down a freshly rained on road one day. Nice bike by the way, but to heavy rather my FZ1I agree. I really like that bike!I also own an XSR900, 2022. Still working on mods, but it never ends.
