My 2001 FZ1

G'day all,
I picked up my Gen1 yesterday and I'm impressed.
They must have been a revelation when they came out.
I've always liked them and recently I had the opportunity to add one to the garage to sit beside my Bandit 1250S.
Just on 18,000km. Fully serviced and carb cleaned. New tyres. Some bling to come this week. What more could I want? :woot:
I had to work today but I have tomorrow of so I'm off chasing twisties on familiar roads and getting to know "Black Beauty".

Man! That brings back memories! That is a "mint" 01' for sure. I can't see a spec of dirt anywhere. Nice find!!! Is that a "US Spec" bike? I really miss my 01'. :frown: I hope I'm lucky enough to find a sweet one like that this coming Spring! Best of luck with her!!!
