Howdy all!
Not sure if I'm posting this in the right area of the forum, so mods please move the thread if needed.
My bike was recently flooded, and I need a new gauge cluster. Insurance is taking care of it, so really with this thread I am just reaching out to the community to see if anyone can help me locate the part I need sooner than the October 7th back order date that the local dealership quoted.
The part needed is:
2D1-83500-C0-00 METER ASSY (MPH)
I believe that is the correct part for my 2011 FZ1.
As y'all might expect, I'd like to get her back on the road sooner rather than later.
My contact at the dealership even checked to see if he could get it faster straight from Japan, but no dice. So, this is really a long shot that for some reason some US dealership has a new one in stock. Why they'd be sitting on a $425 to $580 part, I don't know, but it doesn't hurt to ask.
