When I purchased my fz1 (which the seller told me is a 2009 model but is registered as a 2008 model, and the mechanics placed it as a 2008 model also here in AUstralia?) I was told that it had been sitting for a while. It wouldn't start on my inspection! Was covered in a lot of dust. I returned the next weekend and had a wonderful test ride. Picked it up last Sunday. Wouldn't start! So he gave me a bump start and it fired up instantly. The 40k ride home was amazing. He had mentioned that the battery may be...awry. Due to being left alone without use for lengthy periods? Do the cells die with time if not used?
So, I charged it overnight, and was so excited this evening...but again...electronics came on, a few turn overs of the engine then any attempts to start it led to an odd noise!
I am assuming the battery needs replacing?
If so which battery do I get???
Will this do the job?

Is the 09 battery different to the 08? I will probably aim for the above one and hope for the best as I am desperate to ride the beast this weekend!
