They don't claim to be track only pads. I got them for the FZ1 forks and never got to installing them as I have 6 piston R1 forks now. Have got the EBC HH pads for R1 waiting to be installed.

Every mechanic will tell you not to mix brake fluids because it changes the boiling points when mixed and cause an effect like mixing to much coolant. It will have a negative effect. IMO I'd just stick with what is recommended for the bike.
