Hello fellow FZ1 drivers.

My name is Vincent and I live in the Netherlands, near Amsterdam.
I drive a 2009 FZ1 Fazer S ABS, but is officially a 2007 model, only registered in 2009.

It's now on approx. 8.000 km's (about 5.100 miles) and enjoying my bike every moment I can.

Made some nice changes to it (at least that's what I think...)
Such as... :
LeoVince GP Pro (on pic's still LeoVince SBK EVOII Titanium, but that didn't work with the tailriser)
Lot's of Rizoma stuff
Pazzo's
Hyperpro suspension
Valter Moto 47 tooth rearsprocket etc etc

Some pic's then.

Vincent

:welcome: Vincent and congrats on the bike! Those are some nice mods and really great pics.

See guys, you can drag a knee on the Gen II. ;)

Thanks to the nice welcome!

I will have pic's of the exhaust on my bike tonight, just installed it yesterday and made a few pic's, but didn't upload them yet.

Dragging the knee on my FZ1 took me a while to change my technique a bit. The little groundclearance is quite a problem. At first I just hung myself of more, but since I've the Hyperpro suspension and tailriser (also removed the slidders underneath the footpeg's), it's a lot more natural to get your knee down.

KD's with 140 kph (90 mph) is no problem anymore, but also on tight corners doing about 70 kph (40 to 45 mph) is no problem at all anymore!

So finaly got some nice pictures of my new setup for the bike.
Was away for the weekend, Moto GP in TT Assen, VIP guest so really enjoyed myself!

Here some pic's of my bike in current setup.

Finally got my 16t front sprocket installed, chose a original one from a genI FZ1. So now I'm running 16/47 insteat of 17/45.
And I absolutely love the way the bike rides now, acceleration is much better and rev's on highway travels are still within reason (would like 500 rpm lower but that's the choise you make).
Front wheel will go airborn from 1st untill 3rd gear, now the FZ1 is much more the funbike which it should have been from the factory.

Topspeed, well was in Germany last weekend and was able to try it since there are no speedlimits on some of the highways overthere, without the speedohealer topspeed was 292 kph (181,44 mph) at the speedometer at the revlimiter in 6th, on my GPS this was 248 kph (154,1 mph).

Also installed a Givi toprack including monolock topcase the E470 SimplyIII ready for 47 liter luggage. Now need to save money for the sidecases V35, and then my FZ1 is really ready for some nice trips together with my wife.
Ofcourse the racks and cases don't stay on the during normal daily driving, it's only 10 minutes work to remove them.

Some new pic's.

Stopped to have a look at the famous Nordschleiffe at the Nurburgring, also called "The Green Hell", a circuit with a lenght of 20 km (12,43 miles). Every day of the week everything with wheels will race here.
