Oh for a hose clamp...

Well right now I am enjoying a beautiful Sunday morning in the country side waiting for a tow truck.

Bummer. Sounds like they owe you for a tow also. That sucks. I got stranded last year due to shiot work from the DUC dealer. I had to eat like 300. Needless to say I sent Ducati corporate an email.

I have recovery with Progessive. I can't say enough good about the service. Well worth the $10.00 a year.

My wife came and brought me coffee and lemon pound cake. :)

a nice nylon tow strap (without hooks) and your wife could tow you home herself. You must have done a bike tow over the years. Wrap (not tie) the nylon strap over the footpeg and hold it with your foot. if thing start to get hairy, raise your foot and the strap releases, no more problem. It works bike to bike very well with due caution. Car to bike as long as you keep the strap at an angle so it does not interfere with the bikes front end.

EDIT: Never mind, you posted the above as I was typing this.

Yea glad it didn't turn into an ugly situation for you Pete. That hose coming undone at the wrong time could have been disastrous!

I had just finished testing the quick shift at redline from 5th to 6th and my right leg felt wet. Look down and red fluid is going ever where.

Turn bike off, coast to a stop. Order coffee. :)

Oh, and the newest flash update is simply amazing. I've never ridden a bike so smooth and responsive.
