So my ? is who got short, who got long ,I like my short on my drz what do ya think? I am leaning toward short. Also copperdog speed windscreen the look is cool. I don't really care about wind protection as the stock works only so much anyway, thanks for the input. ps I loved Norm's input the other day.

I prefer the long ones, but that's just my preference. Either is a nice improvement over stock, especially on the clutch side.

As for the Copperdog stuff....it's nice, but very pricey. However, if you can afford it then I say go for it. It's definitely top not in the quality and looks departments.

money isn't the deal,it's the whole other half that really is'nt in to bikes and is not sure why this stuff is needed!!! I know why it's needed (and yes she is in charge) but i did get two bros pipe and juice box and i will get the rest in due time.SOON!!!!!:sport12: Thanks for the info.I know have 1 for long and 1 for short. ED

I think I will stick with long. I use two fingers on my brake lever but have always grabbed a fist full on the cluth. I could get a shorty on right and full on left but I am all about symetry. It is my tragic flaw.

I don't think it's a tragic flaw at all you got me thinking on that fist full of clutch,BTW semetry is good so now I'm going long!!!! the seahawks can't do it but i can.

Yea, I have seen some guys do that short/long thing, but like you I like symmetry so it was the long on both sides.

short

Well I just got the shorts. It may be months before I know whether I like them as winter has definately come to my world. Just sitting on the bike in the garage they feel great. Nicer shape and feel than the stocks. I do have big hands and the point about the clutch is valid for sure, so we'll see.

Timely poll as you guys definitely got me thinking of switching from stock and then I wouldn't know whether to go short or long. So it seems like long will be good for me. I'm not sure what I said the other day but thanks cheapshots.

thanks to all for the input I will go with the long ,for some of the reasons stated, also the short's that are on the drz is used for the dirt and the clutch pull is next to nothing.Thankx guys Ed

Any time

Always happy to help a fellow rider get great stuff ! When you compare the quality of the levers side by side with the stock units you wil really see the difference. You get what you pay for. I realise why Yamaha and all the rest put on what they do, (to keep the price accesible for the masses). You begin to realise how good the machine can be with aftermarket stuff like Pazzo, Rizoma, etc.

OK, I just ordered them. Thanks again Oldschool. Hey Eric ole buddy, interested in helping a mechanical moron put on some Pazzo levers?
