Thinking about the R1 fork conversion but I just got new brake levers for my bike and are wondering if the FZ1 brake lever will fit on the R1 master cylinder?

Yeah, kinda figured that. The wife got them for me for Christmas and wouldn't be too happy if I already had to change one. I might get ahold of Lee at traxxion and see how much it would be to the full valve conversion to my stock forks.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm torn what I want to do. I was looking at set of forks on ebay and I made the seller take better pictures. The forks in the pictures looked kinda beat up and my bike only has 900 miles on it so it would kill me to put something on it that wasn't as pristine as the rest of the bike. I guess I'm just a little picky/OCD.

If the forks have marks on them, I wouldn't buy them.

Do your research, different year forks require different things, ie older forks are a direct swap and you can use your existing fender & brakes, but you don't get the latest technology, the latest R1 forks require R1 calipers, axle and front fender. The mid range (can't remember the years) require R1 axle and calipers, but you can use the FZ1 fender. I bought the latest Ohlins when I did mine and upgraded everything around it, the result is awesome.
