Hello All,
I embarked, foolishly I realize now, on the 2 cat removals from the header and the muffler. The header cat was minimal trouble. The muffler cat, after an entire day, is still a butchered mess inside. I have tried hole saws, drill bits, metal drill bits that look like they could drill through solid iron like butter, pounding a screw driver in, more drilling...
So far, my back aches, my hands hurt, and I'm dirty, but that cat is still there, mocking me with its impervious strength. WTF is going on with this? How long is this thing? I keep drilling...and drilling...and drilling...
I'm worried I may not be able to complete this, and then I'll be stuck. I didn't get the impression from other threads that it would be THIS difficult. If anyone has any ideas, please chime in. My neighbor offered his shotgun. I may take him up on it.
I have done some tough cat removals in my days, but I have never seen anything like this one.:disapproval:
