You'll find that the vibrations aren't that bad. The camera lens is wide angle so any vibrations are subtle

Check out my GoPro footage and you'll see that there isn't a lot of vibration

I woke up feeling almost normal so i decided to winter-ize the bike.

That might be a strong term for checking the grip wires and putting the hand guards back on. Replaced the worn grips too.

Since my thread over at FZ1OA is pretty successful at almost 850 posts, I thought lets try it here. If it runs long, mods could sticky it!

As for me I installed Roth's velocity stacks and AIS block off plates. Here are the threads about them:

Next: Whistler Cruisader Radar Detector and DDMtuning HIDs (still waiting on delivery).

I added a Laminar Lip to the stock windscreen on my 04 FZ 1. Made all the difference in the world. Greatly relieved wind pressure and it's all smooth air. NO BUFFETING!

I got those on closeout for a dollar or two a couple of years ago when I got the 725s. these seem even better!

I pulled the tank off, removed 3 of the 4 flies. My buddy jumped the gun and stripped one of the screws. :frown:

Tomorrow, Im gonna route the PC3 and install a BMC filter. New clutch cable Thursday. Hopefully back in action Thursday evening.

Ordered some led turnsignals for up front, got these levers. http://shop.the2wheels.com/CNC-Adjustable-Clutch-Brake-Levers-Set-for-Yamaha-Lever-Set-Yamaha.htm in "shorty" black, and a steel 45t driven racing sprocket. Now ill be waiting on the delivery!

Clutch Cable

Replaced the clutch cable on my 2001
Was a piece of cake

Did the fuel line mod. My line didnt seem bent but it was $6 my cost so I went ahead.

Also routed the PC3 and installed the BMC filter. Flies are gone as well. That was a learning experience for me.

Clutch cable tomorrow.

I got the clutch cable in and all mods are complete. Running Jondaddy82's map. I havent ridden it yet, just around the parking lot to make sure I had a clutch.

FCE installed today with no engine light coming on, guess that's a good thing. I'll ride it tomorrow and make sure all is well. Next up, Ivan's flies and air box mod along with PC V.:sinister:
