What did you do to your FZ today?

nothing modded at the bike, but bought me something for the bike: a steady stand garage so I can park my bike easily now and upright

Looks good :)
And made me log on to e-bay (again ) to find one myself :)

Looks very good .... provide more information ... price, link, etc.

I find the Steady Stand a bit pricey, but found this one:

Very nice and stable.

New Member- Bike Set up - Help

Hi, new to the site and love it. I have owned an 02 Gen 1 but just bought a 2008. I am changing the front sprocket to a 16. I have the new one installed and am reassembling this morning along with a new rear tire. Question I got a great set up off a thread here some time back for my gen 1 that really helped my ride on my 02. I am 225lbs. Is there a past posting of someone with a similar weight that I could use to set up my bike close. Thanks

Well my used Copperdog seat cowl came in today. I gave it a good waxing and will install it on the bike tomorrow afternoon :) Man this thing is light, especially when compared with the Corbin seat with passenger backrest!

AIS and Lars mods

I've got to update my avatar. My bike looks different now with flash mount signals, new tinted screen and no more decals. Anyways today I did the AIS block off mod. I used a 1/2-inch wooden dowel, which fit perfect, and I secured it in place with a hose clamp. The air box inlet I closed off with a 1/2inch plastic furniture leg tip and another clamp. Perfect fit again. While I had the box out I decided to do the Lars mod as well. I used a regular drill and a 3/8 bit to cut the plastic. I know that the dremel would give me a nicer finish but this worked fine too. I was going to put an after market air filter but my bike only has 4000 miles so I’ll wait until its is time to replace the stock filter.

Thanks to the useful posts on the forum and copperdawg youtube videos.
