What I did on Memorial Day.

Since we live so far from the final resting places of any of our relatives, we decided to put this up in memory of all the lost loved ones and the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom. It is simplistic but meaningful for us. Fitting that it surrounds the flag pole.

i really appreciate what you did eric. i hate memorial day. it never meant much before my service, but it means a lot to me now after. but i hate it because i can't go through it without thinking of my friends that have passed away and their families, and how for most people it is just another day off of work and an excuse to have a cook out. that's why i hate memorial day, but i appreciate and respect when people remember and celebrate it for the right reasons. thank you eric
