***Official 2010 Deals Gap Thread*** (Updated OP)

Cool Billy! Yes, Ron and Nancy are awesome folk according to everyone I've spoken to. Don't forget, they are also Gen I FZ1 riders too! I believe they have both an '01 and '02? Maybe you can coax them out for a ride with you. They might be able to lead you on an awesome tour!

BTW, the ride to Bridal Veil Falls is awesome! Highly recommended.

But avoid it during the time that the kids are getting out of school or people are getting off of work...It'll almost feel like real traffic that time of day.

Here's a close up of the turn off from Route 143. Just follow the arrows. Be aware that there is another "Luciannda" named road before this turn off so if your heading West, it's the second one named "Lucinnda Reed Road"

I'm officially done with the important stuff. The wiring for the trailer is done, all important tools are packed, extra fluids for both the car and bike, and the trailer is waiting to be picked up. I may just bring it home tomorrow and load the bike on it and leave it backed in the garage. I just need to pack my clothes, camera and video stuff, and I'll be all set to go. Saturday can't come soon enough!

but Billy... I've got a nice 2 piece Teknic textile suit that's awesomely waterproof... I'm willing to bet it's pretty close to your size if you need it.

Thanks Buddy! Although I don't have much gear, I do however have a two piece rainsuit which I packed in the trunk of the car already. I got it from a buddy of CanonFuji's a while back and haven't used it yet. I may get a chance next week. Thanks very much for the offer, I appreciate it.

P.S. Maybe for another thread, but have you fiddled with the new lens yet? I'm curious to see some shots with it. Maybe you can start a new thread with some pics.

Hey guys, keep in mind that I'm the service manager at Alcoa Good Times Yamaha which is relatively close to the Gap. If you guys need anyting whilst in the area let me know. I am taking a few days off during that week you all are here but I'll help in any way I can.

I will also give my parts manager a heads up and see if I can hook you guys up with a group discount if you need rain gear or any other goodies.

The address to the shop is 2019 Topside Road Louisville, TN 37777.
