We are quite a ways from Gatlinburg. We are actually about a 5 miles from the Knoxville (McGhee Tyson) Airport. We are just off I-140 exit 9 (Topside Road).

Looking For A Room Mate!!
I got the trailer home today and loaded the FZ1 on it and backed it into the garage. I was proud of myself as it took me one shot to back it into my tiny garage. The trailer had only about 6" on each side to play with and I had traffic blocked on the street so I swung it around and got her in the first time. Harry (Dave's Dad) would have been proud of me! So I'm ready for a companion for the trip down. Maybe a nice GenII, preferably in red.

Not sure if you'll be the first as I think that Joe (Currently) will also be there on Friday. All the East Coast guys, me, Tony, Vadim, Harry, and David should all be arriving on Saturday within hours of each other. We are all leaving about the same time. If we're lucky we can all coordinate a meeting place on the road and caravan together. Yeah, a Convoy!!!
Also, my Oldsmobile is 25 years old so I'm taking it nice and easy to make sure we get there in one piece. I'm am totally responsible for Tony's bike as well. It looks like its gonna be 60-65mph for me the whole way. Most probably a 13 hour ride for me at least. I'm not wanting to slow down the others either.

Pop and I are thinking around 6PM would be the right time for us. I hope we meet up on 81 to convoy in. Make sure if you gett o the meeting place on 81 you call me to see where Im at. I will do the same if Im there first.
