Hi Im Dave
Just got my 2006 FZ1s
live in Australia NSW on the central coast. Using the bike as a 200km a day commuter...but for fun as well....been a while since i owned a Yamaha, but have a big smile on my first after my first ride in to work.
First thing i noticed was that i can't set the clock. its 3 hours out. Any body got any ideas?
Unfortunately the bike didn't come with a manual.
Cheers
Hello My name is Devon. I just bought a new 09 FZ1 Black/Grey. Previous bike was a yamaha Radian (1986) 600 cc and i've been wanting an FZ1 for about 4 years now. Waiting to get the bike home from the twin cities. I've been making many plans for upgrades such as exhaust therefore I've decided to Join the forum.
Thanks

hi everyone, thought it was about time i introduced myself, since i've been a member for almost a year now.my name is rick, nickname arlo, occupation stonemason,45 yo,2009 fz1 black.i've been riding every thing i could since i was 12,owned many bikes ,but, this is only the second i bought new.the first was a 1984 gpz 750 leftover in 1986.the fz is the only bike that compared ergowise to my old friend, the power is a whole new ball game though hehehehe!!so far my only mods are yamaha tall windsheild[i'm6'2"]fenda extenda[lot of dirt roads around here]and flies to servomotor link removed with flies wired open spring removed.i hope to soon replace the torturous seat and giant ugly muffler.View attachment 5887

Hello everybody.....
Glad to be one of the members here. I already introduce myself in the new thread. I'm Marl from Malaysia. My only ride is the FZ1 beside one moped. I used to owned a CBR400 & CB400 Super Four & stucked with 400cc for quite sometimes.. Haha...
Then I'm in 'hibernate' :zzz:mode after sold the CB4... (the last bike I have that time) to fully concentrate on my study...... After for about 6 years, my feeling to be a biker again raised... :laugh2: Just like the Transformers - Rise of the Fallen... lolup
I got 2 choices either the FZ1 or the VFR800. After doing some research, the FZ1 is the winner. I really care about choosing the right bike since in my country's tax for imported bike is high & we need to pay higher price. This FZ1 sell for about USD25k in my country. Some dealer even sell more than that & some less than that. But I think I had made the right choice.
Sorry friends... my english is not that good... :scared: hope you all can understand... :disturbed
Ride safe....:sport12:

Howdy,
I'm a rider from San Antonio. Have had many bikes and am down to a 05' R1200GS and just picked up an 07 FZ1. I'm a member of ADVrider and a few other forums. I am all about MODs and Information. Right now my bike is unmolested..........I'm ready to start molesting
I've already ordered Sliders, Fender Eliminator, Radar LED display.
I need a windshield and am thinking about doing FZ1inNH's installation of the POD lights. I didn't notice if my blinkers are running lights too.....are they? I'm at work right now and can't access it. Anyways, I'm glad to become a member and look forward to all the info and advice I can get/ give on this site!
I'm up to ride anytime too....let me know if anyone is out in the Tx Hillcountry.

Hello all,
Thinking about going back to an inline four. Last Yammy I owned was a Seca 750 bought new in '81. Man I had fun on that bike. But got bit by the twin and Adventure bug.
