You read my mind - as soon as I put everything back on, I had the same thought - coat the exhaust... That may be a winter mod for me...

Yeah, the triple tree and risers are not coated either on the '10 models... But the pricing makes the big difference - I got the triple tree, two sets of risers, rearsets, shifter and brake levers, passenger brackets, and all 4 foot pegs prep'd, blasted, and coated for $70 and back in 4 days...

I finally found a local powder coater that I was happy with - very reasonable pricing and ended up doing a great job. Two thumbs up for Chris at 3NIGMA Motorsports Before: After: Word of caution - it's a pain in the ass, but make sure to remove all the rubber...

Thanks for posting such good pics, theWolfTamer! It gave me some good ideas for how to do the same thing on my Gen 2: I wasn't digging the red molding that came on the trunk and will replace with some general black auto modling.

We need to get more people voting... Actually, it's not polished - I just happen to catch the light perfectly. I thought about hand polishing it, but I just couldn't wait to put it on.

Got my new MIVV Suono in from PJ and I'm very impressed - fit and finish were great, easy install, and really sounds great. With the db killer in, it's not too loud at idle (safe for the neighbors in the morning) but really let's it bark when you twist the throttle. :thewave: I'll take some...

I had to turn the stock bar down a little, but that actually felt better for me that way. And after tilting them down, I had about an inch clearance from the tank at full lock.:)

No drilling - lined up perfect. I did buy longer bolts, but that was $3 at Home Depot... I just need to find a good power coater to get these (and a few other items) blacked out.

I'm using some GZ250 risers that I picked up from Ebay cheap - they're the shortest 7/8" risers I could find. And I can still go to full lock without hitting the tank (even with my Rizoma bar CD screen, too.)

I beleive it ended up being $50 with shipping - little higher than what I would have liked, but it's an exact match.

I had Copperdawg paint them to match when I got my Speedscreen.
