I have a 2001 FZ1 with Holeshot aftermarket carb kit installed and aftermarket Yosh exhaust and Holeshot AIS removal kit. I had the carb's professionally done at a race maechanics garage. The bike had been sitting 5 months prior. The bike "stumbles" on acceleration....esp. from 3K to 6K rpms...

I's like to removal ALL the AIS junk off my 2001 FZ1. I found the TPO kit on ebay which consists of 4 plugs screws that apparently completely seal off the inserts into the four cylinder heads and allow you to remove all of the AIS hardware including all hoses. First...does this work??? Anyone...

I have this little problem. My FZ1 was running rough, slight surging-like feel but after warm up at least idled somewhat OK. I then changed plugs (four new CR9E's)...there were 4 CR9EK's in the bike???? installed by previous owner. Anyway, now it won't idle hardly at all, surges up and down...

I think my plugs need replacing. Don't have owners or service manual yet. Can the plugs be replaced without having to remove the gas tank? Any tips/hints I need to know about before I start? Thanks again for all the help!!

HI, I just purchased a nice 2001 (black) FZ1 with only 3K miles on it!!! Awesome bike. It did not come with an owners manual. It seems the temperature light is always on - faintly (bluish color) when I start it up and ride. Does this mean there's a cooling problem?...or does the light...
