I think it was a map from the "other" FZ1 site...the guy that wrote it was DUKE, and I think it was called Hybrid 2.0. I looked on there and it appears as though that map has since been replaced by Hybrid 3.0 and Hybrid 3.0 Smoothed. Here's a link of some maps...

Hey guys, I went for a ride yesterday and noticed less than stellar tire performance from my rear tire, most notably braking and cornering. Several times I had the rear wheel lock up and slide on me when braking(I cant recall ever having done that). It felt bad enough I stopped what I was...

Mwilkins- Where are you riding at in KS? I either get ignored by the HD guys...which doesnt surprise me, or I get "the nod" from the sportbike guys. Ive never had anybody want to go out and "test" my FZ1...but Im still looking forward to the day it does happen.:sinister: Let me know if...

Exhaust popping is not normal or ok...really? All the AIS is doing (as Lonerider pointed out) is letting air in to mix with the unburned fuel that is coming out your exhaust. The AIS is there for emissions controls. Thats it. Schrader

142 mph this last weekend...it was still pulling pretty hard when I let off. The mods Ive done are AIS, BMC aircleaner, PC3, Ivan's sub-throttle plates, and an MIVV GP exhaust. Schrader

Still got the stock muffler...I cant believe anyone would not want this sweet looking coffee can hanging off the side of their FZ1! :tup: Schrader

No offense, but I almost didnt buy my FZ1 just because the exhaust was hideous. (IMHO). I put an MIVV GP on mine, and it was been one of the best performance mods I've made...and Ive dont most of them. FWIW Schrader

A quick question on tire longevity-if I went with a soft tire, say the BT-016's, how would they fare on gravel roads? I live in the country, and Ive got 1.5 miles of gravel in either direction to hit pavement. Are soft tires like this even an option? Schrader
