I have been thinking about this shock for a while, it's parting with the cash that's holding me back.
Does it make the ride harsher on our goat track roads?
Does it increase rear ride height? I think the FZ1 would benefit from this.
Bought my pcv from Ivan already with map installed price was reasonable and our conversion rate is ok so why not just get him to send you one back in the same box as your ecu.
Here in Australia there is a nakedbike class of racing and the FZ1 has made a good show of it last time I looked the nakedbike lap record at Eastern Creek raceway was held by an FZ1 and the time was very close to the Superbike lap record, I think you will find the FZ1 is very capable with the...
Yep I'm a little spooked but leaving my bike as is for the moment but I am keeping my eyes and ears open for a stock muffler in case I need it. I have the Db insert in with my full Yoshi and it's not too loud. I try to avoid the popular bike roads on weekends, I am lucky enough to get a day off...
I have spent a fair bit of time on my mates Carbon Red, not what I'd call a cruiser it's got crazy acceleration, brakes and handles quite good you do feel that big back tire though. I'm not selling my FZ though so a cruiser will be for the times I feel like slowing it down and believe me that...
I should give a M109R a try they look so huge though. I'm wanting to get something with a nimble feel so I don't want something with a fashion statement fat back tire. A low centre of gravity, rear tire 180 or under and no lounge chair forward controls is what I'm after.
Thanks for doing the conversion. I know on a cruise I think I could get to 6.5L/100km or even better but don't know if I can be that restrained. Thinking about buying another bike like a Harley or a Victory for cruising and maybe some touring.
I was looking through an old bike magazine yesterday in which they recorded an average fuel consumption of 7.3l/100km on a standard bike so I think I can accept that the 7.5 I am getting on fairly spirited rides is actually pretty good considering the extent of modifications done.
I found the same thing after a ride I'm going to have to redo it when I have time, even though I have not got it spot on yet my fuel consumption has dropped from 10L/100km after flash to 7.5kmL/100km so it has been a big improvement I'd like it a bit better but maybe that will take a custom map...
That's a worry to me, I do and will continue to avoid places frequented by bikes on the weekends. My bike now with a full Yoshi, ecu flash, airbox mod and pcv I have no chance of it passing an emission test, a noise test maybe if I could get hold of a standard muffler.
What a nightmare for the...
You want more power go to Ivan Performance Products web page. Its all there, it works and it's well proven, no guess work.
I have the works and it's awesome.
Ballmead I like the look you have there but I want to avoid putting small blinkers on and then having a large hole with small stems coming through. I cant tell from your picture if your bike is like that.
And thanks for the mirrors you packaged them extremely well and they are in near as new...
