:sport12: Hey guys! New here, my name is Bobby, im 29 from Melbourne, FL. and proud owner of a 2006 FZ1. Picked it up for $3400 just the way she sits. I had a friend of mine do some custom seats for me, and i installed a integrated tail and swingarm spools. She has a micron exhaust and hyperpro stabilizer. Very fun bike to ride. This is about my 7th or 8th bike over the years, i have been riding since 2003. Here are some pics :)

I was reading up that the color of the bike was acually Liquid Silver.. now i am not positive that is correct but i happened to find Liquid Silver vinyl and it matched up pretty well.. it looks a bit different in person, but still great. The heart of course is for my girlfriend as shes my 1-up :)

Congrats and welcome! Great looking ride! Really like the seats too. Was it just the covers or was the foam modified too?

I notice the PO dropped the triples on the forks SEVERELY but the rear is stock ride height? That makes for some very strange handling but at least your bike has the steering damper. Most of us go no more than 6mm up from stock with the rear unchanged. I'm at 5mm now and it's a big difference.

Very nice! The whole black and silver theme is mesmerizing.

Look closely you can see the steering damper. That is a big drop though, he may be vertically challenged.

i am not vertically challened lol. PO said he lowered the front 1 inch, wanted the sportbike stance. I havent noticed any issues in the handling. I am coming from a sportbike only background and i enjoy its handling, but not knowing the original position makes it hard to say if it would be better or not for me.

thanks for all the welcomes :) I am actually taking those turn signals off, im not a big fan, i will get flush mounts for the front, i think its more of a cleaner look and goes better with the flow of the bike, and i have already removed the rear ones last night when i put in the rear integrated light. Owners manual is telling me its about time for the valves to get checked.. i hope its not expensive :(

Baby on ur baby.

WOW, what a great deal! How many miles and mods?

A little over 20k miles, only mods so far is the micron, strewing stabilizer, and integrated trail. I have a k&n pin the way as well as CD ais plates. Was considering doing the flies as well but don't havea pciii so not sure if that's beneficial at threw moment, but I think I'll do the airbox mod when I put the filter in.

Welcome to the club! sweet looking ride! U may want to lower it a bit though...looking at the 4th pic down...it doesn't look like your feet are going to touch the ground!! LOL j/k. Awesome ride...beware...the mod bug around here is quite contagious!
