Stock can was very heavy and gutting the cat was a bitch! I also had issues getting all the cat pieces out of header pipes. So i wanted to ditch stock exhaust but didnt have alot of cash to drop so i just decided to be creative and make my own exhaust using a Supertrapp disc only system. I know some on here will think im nuts but its probably as light as weight as your gonna get without running any exhaust which would be way too loud and lead to bike not running right. I'm not running any power commander so everything else is stock including air filter. I also left exup connected in place to kill some noise or help with low end torque, so that prob keeps weight up just a bit. All in all it just looks better not having any cannister at all on the side, really shows off the swingarm...Can find pics on my thread; Supertrapp custom exhaust
