I'm ready for spring

Cold....... too much white sh*t everywhere........ no end in sight..... The bikes are pi$$ed, I'm pi$$ed.

Last spring never came.... we went from cold to steady cold rain and then it was July. If it is like that this year, I'm going to have to be aggressive about relocating to a warmer climate. I'd take 40 degrees so long as there's no salt and sand on the roads....

FML................

I am sorry for the crappy winter! This is my last year on the East Coast before retiring to California... I take the blame... and this weather sucks!

I thought we were having an early spring here in Vancouver then we got 3 days of snow. A class 4 avalanche closed a main highway up north for a few days. It's nice today and the snow is melting but more is on the way in a day or two.

Where's spring?! :rtfm::rtfm::rtfm::rtfm:

This is the worst winter ever for me. There has been snow on the ground for over two months. Its only broke 50* a few times and the roads were wet with salt, calcium chloride, pot holes not counting the fact that most roads near me are oil and chips. I usually ride every winter with no heated gear and no baterry tender i should have bought a snowmoble instead of this fz

Yeah, well, everybody has a choice on where they live. Which is why many people move south when they retire, and partly why economies are better in the warmer states in the south. I've lived in Canada, MN, SD, WI, NJ and I hated the winters but was forced to endure them due to job requirements, but also knew that I wouldn't be there more than two years before moving on. If I was permanently stuck in one of those areas I would have moved. No one is locked in.....if the weather becomes too much of a burden you have to move on. Many years ago I interviewed for a job in Marquette, MI (in May I believe). Even then I knew there was no way I would be happy there when the winter moved in so I passed on that 'opportunity'. I just checked the Weather Channel and it is projected to be -14F tonight in Marquette. No thank you. I plan to ride tomorrow as it is projected to be sunny and 79F in the Texas Hill Country. Choices.....

I've lived in Michigan most of my life. Most if the time I like it, I usually snowmobile in the winter. This year I've been jammed working on sleds for people, then we've had the coldest winter I've ever seen in my 29 years...
This crap is too cold to even ride sleds in.

You have a good point there evitzee. However we cant afford to live down south now and when we can we will be to old to enjoy it .Sorry to hear about Jersey!!
