The wheels are indeed the 16"/18" combo popular during the mid 80s. I have been reading and there are a few 17" wheels and forks that are a straight bolt on. Will have to research that path some more...

Well took the bike out for a ride this evening...OMG is all I will say. This bike is not going to be good for my license The sound going through the gears is intoxicating. I was surprised at the power in the lower gears

Well never officially imported into the US so most of the ones here (and I can't imagine there are that many) came from Canada.
It sounds so damn sweet going through the gears...It's intoxicating. Just ask Billy who was following me yesterday during most of our ride

Have been quite busy recently so not much to update other than I have acquired some parts to spruce up the bike. Mostly better cosmetic stuff and some replacement parts that were missing. Also got a new Shorai battery as the previous one was run dry on a couple of cell and was junk. Figured it was a good opportunity to "upgrade".
