Putty rd ride pics

Went for a ride on a section of the putty rd today. Got a few pics taken by one of the guys in our group.
So here they are...

But I now realise I do need some leathers or at least a blue jacket...

Nice pics Scotty. Next time you head out west give me a PM as I'm in the Blue Mountains and always looking for an excuse to go for a ride.

Cheers Bluey

Nice pics Scotty! You're still on the wrong side of the road! :th_smiley_rotfl2[1]

Nice ride and kudos for gearing up!

That's what I was thinking when I saw this pic :laugh2:

Yeah sure will bluey. When it gets a bit warmer I want to head down the south coast for the day or two so I can go thru there (use putty road and bells line of road)...

I did the Putty run in various cars a few times about 1992-ish, and went back last year in August with the FZ6 for a look. A 4WD ate it on the way back, on another road.

Did manage to get some video before it got munched though.

Unfortunately it was before I got my HD camera, and it's mounted on the side of the radiator, but you can get the idea even if the picture sux...lol.

Nice shots mate. Was just googling the Putty today at work trying to work out a 3-4 day trip inland later this year. ie. when it warms up. Wollongong-Picton-Singlton, Wyalong, Cooma and back to the gong via the coast looks like not a bad trip.

Scotty, give me a PM if you are heading south on a weekend into the warmer weather and want some company. Cheers, Burnesy

Nice pics mate. The best parts of the Putty are Colo Heights and the 11 mile bends, the rest is pretty straight and boring. Having said that, I don't mind the loop from Windsor to the Old Road via Wollombi. It's a fun day that's for sure.
I'm yet to take my new FZ1N there but I will real soon.
