its the 2010 model, they all have the new all black exhaust ;)

I paid 950.000 yen which is about $9500.

The naked FZ1 is 900.000yen ($9000)


BUT, the domestic Jp bike is de-tuned.

Only 94hp...

But after a few after market changes it can be re-tuned.

The R1 is quite abit more, maybe 1.5million yen?

The fireblade isnt actually available in Japan. Its a western bike and has to be imported into Japan.

Not sure. These are the prices for a brand new bike bought from a Yamaha dealer.

There are cheaper alternatives.

Not sure what prompted me to check out other FZ sites but I did and came across you guys. Alot of you are familiar from FZ01A so I'll spare the intro details other than to say:
Im from So Cal.
Been riding 15'ish years mostly weekend warrior with several track days thrown in.
Im lovin' my shift red 06' FZ1.
