What did you do to your Non-FZ1 motorcycle today.

Went for a nice 222 mile ride today with Morgstang after finally installing my TechSpec tank grips on the Speed Triple R.

went out with my brothers on a short trip through three countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Germany), representing the main motorbike manufacturer continents: Europe (Triumph), Asia (Japan-Honda), USA (HD)

I replaced the rear tire on my 2007 Vstar 1300 last week, man that was much harder than doing it on my FZ1.

There is a bracket that holds the brake caliper assembly and I had to zip tie to the swingarm just to hold it in place while I tried to get the wheel in place. I am glad I get way more miles per tire on that bike and don't have to change it as often.

I also changed the oil on her yesterday in preparation for my Iron Butt Ride at the end of the Month.

What tire did you choose?

I'd love to hear more details about your plan & route for the IBA! Do tell!

Installed the smaller summer wind shield, changed the oil & filter, changed the rear tire (Pirelli Diablo) on the FZ09. Getting ready for the valve check/adjustment in 500 miles.

Getting my DRZ dirty again on a friends ranch near Gatesville, TX. Nice little meet organized by folks on the Two Wheeled Texans forum. We have a dirt MSF instructor out here also doing classes for those new to off road.

Picked up a rear shock for the VFR yesterday!

It's a CBR600 unit that has been revalved and sprung for the VFR and comes with a new upper mount. Excited!

I was on holiday over the last week and didn't get to ride my bike but I took a day away from showing my visitors around and rode a little bit. The new shock feels very, very nice and has given me back the composure that my bike had lost over the last year or so. Definitely worth the $$$ and I will try to get away and give it a real good ride ASAP.
