I also had a '75 550 Four. It was a fun bike to throw around. The only thing I hated was the centerstand; it had an aftermarket 4 into 1 pipe that left no ground clearance when you were flipping to the right. There were a few times I'd be playing around in a parking lot and throw it right, only...

It's a cool looking pipe, but I think it would look better on a concept/project bike. To me, it just has real "Road Warrior" look to it, that doesn't quite fit with the lines of an otherwise stock bike. Though I agree that a matte black version would work.

Didn't get a chance to ride, but it was for a good cause. A friend bought an 03 GS yesterday, so I was doing "follow home in the car" duty. Today, though, we'll be hunting some new roads. Nothing major - I'm guessing we'll just pick a direction and go. Monte
