Well I've lurked for a while here on the site, and actually responded in a thread earlier and realized it was my first post, lol. Anyhow, I figured I should introduce myself and throw up a few pics of the bike (everybody likes pictures).
I am the 2nd owner of the Fazer, an '11 that had about 4,500 miles on the clock when I bought it from a guy that just wanted out of the loan he had on the bike. I gave him $7,500 to pay off his loan, and he was happy to be able to go out and get a Harley with a seat that his wife would feel comfortable on. My wife doesn't do bikes - at all - so I don't have that problem.
That was back in February, and the bike now has 13K + miles and has been to both Cali and Key West, plus some places in between.
I've recently added V35's and SW-Motech mounts to her, but have yet to test them out.
This is my third bike, having stepped from a Ninja 250 to a SV650S, to the Fazer over a 6 year period.
And without further delay ... Pictures!
My first test ride - I bought the bike a coupla days later
And promptly mounted fresh rubber
Soft bags probably aren't gonna be ideal with the shape of that tail
Her first long trip - Houston to Key West
On the way to Cali a week later
Got a fresh rear mounted in San Diego
And now with hard bags!
Together with my around town and hopefully one day track bike, the SV650S
