That makes sense given the position. Let's see a pic of it turned around. :tup:

As for the AIS, you can leave the pump connected. I never disconnected mine.
 
Will deff be doing a gold radiator guard.

And for the update:

Got the pipe in today, thing is sweet. The mid pipe is turning a goldish color which happened to my Muzzy on the Gen1 but its going to match on this one! Thing has a WICKED growl, did NOT gut the cat. Dont think im going to bother honestly. Ill worry about all that crap next year when I do the PC3. Had a small leak so I busted out the RTV, will be riding it tomorrow so I can really hear her scream for mercy. Bent the crap out of my plate bracket and turned it around, I like where it is now.

Also forgot to mention since I had the air filter out, I took off the metal screen yesterday. Also after looking at the way this GYTR looks on the bike now I dont see the need to cut it down, really like it in stock form as the label is really cool. For what its worth here is what I will be ordering over the winter, well I may get the blinkers and radiator guard ordered in a few weeks... I think this stuff is going to look hot. Should be enough without overdoing it.

In this order:
  • Gold Radiator guard from jwhelan65
  • Watsen Raven colored flushmount front blinkers.
  • Speedo DRD
  • STEALTH/RK 520GXW Chain & Sprocket which is a gold chain, and gold rear sprocket. Going with 16/46 Gearing
  • Copperdawg speed screen color matched to my bike with a gloss center which keeps stock mirrors, medium height and scallopped top.
  • Pilot Power 2CT's (Really liked my Pilot Powers on the Gen1, wanna give the 2CT's a chance.)
  • PC3, Ignition Module, FCE, when I do this stuff i'll gut the cat, do the Lars Airbox mod with BMC filter, and either pull or do modded flies.

Still waiting for my FireDragonBros levers, tank protector, and then the FZ6 foot pads I ordered last night.

Just ordered FZ6 stock rubber pads for the footpegs, as they are flat and firm and I hate these ribbed squishy ones on this bike. Can never get a nice firm feel on the pedal.

I did the FZ6 rubber pads on mine as well. You might also want to the "washer mod" while you're at it to stiffen up the mounts. Look here for the details.
 
Got the levers in today. Also did like 30 miles of crusiing around and whatnot, this exhaust is MEAN!

Couple more pics. Wont be changing much from this point on...

Awesome work Geno! You're going to LOVE the med scallop CD screen. If we can meet up, you can take mine for a run to know what it feels like (wind) before buying one.

I'm open until the 19th. I took two weeks off to help the wife recover from surgery but she is doing very well so a day trip isn't out of the ordinary at this point so long as I am sure one of the kids can be here for her. You working M-F? I could meet you Sunday... supposed to be cloudy and cool but that is OK... better than sweating.

And, you'd get to try the TS seat too!

It would be cool to get some pics with these two bikes together. :tup:

Was freaking cold today going to work, thats for sure. NOT liking the cold coming in, only means winter is coming and that is depressing me.

Good gear my friend. My gear is good to 38 degrees before I start worrying about being cold.
