Just read the last part of this thread. Carl, so glad to hear you were able to get DD for that ticket. That's got to be a real relief.

Thanks George!
I was sweating bullets when I went into that judges office. I mean I was worried....and they turned out to be the nicest people in the world. They pulled my record to see how many speeding tickets I have had in the past and luckily - most of the classes I have taken were before they really started keeping up with them.
Carl I heard your exhaust was loose and hanging on the tail end of the ride........everything good now?
If that was Williamson county, I've heard some horror stories like them throwing riders in jail......
the mid pipe bit into the ground and flipped the bike forward. I don't think it quite did a front flip but the people who saw it said it was a pretty good attempt
Carl I saw you go down in my mirror. You stopped so fast when the pipe dug in! Knocked the back end pretty high. Did not look like a fun drop. Glad your ankle was ok - that could have been worse, but maybe the gravel stopped it from being a trip to the emergency room!
I call it the FZ1 Pole Vault. It will be fetured in the upcomming olympic games!
P.S. I hope you don't mind me sharing the story with Frank. We had quite a few drinks!
Now that is an odd story! Pole vault! Go figure...
YIKES !! Could have been much, much worse !! Glad you're OK !!
