Watson LED Turn Signals

All I have thus far is my order ack. No shipping notification. I am eager to get them.

Just noticed his footnotes on the home page.

Please note we are experiencing delays in the manufacturing process and it will take approximately five weeks from order date to shipping. We make everything to order and are working through the orders in the sequence received. Thank you for your patience.

Go Copperdog for the price difference.

Actually, I was hoping Patrick would have an LED set ready sooner than later. I really want the Copperdog pods just for the uniqueness of them! I've yet to see anyone with them on the FZ1 and his bike is just freakin' AWESOME!

Running lights

I just noticed something else on the site for Watsen's? He used to offer an upgrade for the set for running lights/signals but I don't see that. Are they all now running/signal lights? Are they three wire and you hook up two wires in the rear, three in the front?

Roger from Watsen was trying to get out of making the running light feature for the lights. He says it's to time consuming as he hand makes the clips. The stock Yamaha female ends are not available any more, so he was making a home made unit by carefully aligning three individual clips and shrink tubing them together at the proper alignment. He is just too busy to do this. You could make this yourself as it is a two pin clip at one end that is available and the other end would just take some patience and a steady hand. I will ask him if there is anything special about the wires on this adaptor when I pick up my rear set. I'll get the specs. from him and post up pics.

Same here. Just can't justify it right now.

Just got notice that my payment was run through on my card for the lights. Hopefully they will ship soon. Looks like I will get the Watsens, seat cowl and painted radiator covers all at about the same time.

Those looks great Joe!

"Hey, you should see this guy in the forum about a cool radiator guard!" :poke: :jk: :th_smiley_rotfl2[1]

Been sitting on the Watsen's for two weeks. Finally installed them tonight. Those things are bright as hell. Can barely look at them without being blinded.

Oh well. I am thinking about setting the pod mod lights up as running lights since the Watsen's get rid of the running light feature. I am going to fiddle with that this weekend.

I also have an idea about how to get the pod mods to work again in the alternating fashion I had them previously. Will keep you updated on that to.

Oh comon' show us don't tell us Brad. You know we like pictures. I do know what they look like but your bike is great looking, SHOW IT OFF!

Soon! :) To tired tonight. Besides I am hoping to get a shot this weekend with these, the CD seat cowl and my newly painted radiator covers.

Oh glorious day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where have we heard that before...Just one more thing...we'll see.

LOOKS FANTASTIC! The rad covers are on my to do list, just waiting for a rainy weekend, because I won't give up riding so I can paint parts. SS brake lines is on the to do list as well.

I have been riding for almost a month without the covers. ;)

Brad that looks fantastic man!!! Now you got me wanting to spend more money :D I seriously want to get the lower cowl and get my seat cowl painted. I got the stock one from the Yamaha retro kit that I picked up on eBay for a very reasonable price, but it's white.
