*****The Riding Game*****

ARGGGHHH......warm day here but 50 mph winds says no bikes out today!

a picture with you on the bike in front of your local Yamaha dealer (this could be the one you prefer which is maybe in the next town as you don't like the local dealer) __________________

Hey no fair, my dealer is a 5 brand dealership. Extreme Powersports. If you'll accept that then I'll have it tmwr since it's mid 60s-70s all week here, haha. Did I mention I've been riding since last week everyday? Sorry just teasing

OK, it's a horrible shot, but there I am in my bunched up jacket. I doubt if I'll get up there again anytime soon on my bike, so I'll just go with it.

Sportland and me by DocDazzler, on Flickr

These guys are great, friendly, and no pressure. They are happy to see you and talk, even if you're not buying a new bike, unlike the place that's much closer to me. The other place is Yamaha-Kawasaki only. I tried to buy an FZ6 from them, but I was unfamiliar with the then new FZ6R and just wanted to drive both the FZ6 and FZ6R before deciding which would be the best for my money. Now I'm glad the jack-wagon said, "Come back when you're serious." I did, on my '07 FZ1 from this place :flip: LOL

This is Sportland Motorsports in Urbana, IL and they deal in Yamaha, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, Victory and they just added BMW. I think they have Polaris too. They have another branch in Bloomington, IL where I actually picked up my bike, but it's even farther from me, so this will have to do.

This was started over on the sister site by Wavex and grew to be quite a fun thread. It involves you, your bike, a camera and a lot of riding! I thought it would be fun to bring it here too...

Name a place or thing to take a picture with your bike. First person to go out, take, and post the picture picks the next one. Must be a picture taken after the challenge started! Try not to make it impossible. No photochops. If nobody else gets the picture within 48hours, the person that picked it can choose a new one. New challenge must be picked when picture of the last one was posted...

RULES:

1) If a challenge is not met after 48hours a new topic is picked by the last winner...

2) Post your pic in this thread and state your new challenge below the picture.

3) Your bike must be in ALL pics...

4) After any comment, please put the current challenge at the bottom so everyone can stay up to date.

5) Pictures must be taken AFTER the challenge is posted. Don't cheat, there's no point of cheating... the point is to get out and ride!

These are the rules when the game first started. You do not HAVE to attach a pic of the next challenge you post, unless you want to.

OK. Sorry I'm so late posting this, as I was ignorant of the rules and stuck working three 12 hour shifts in a row. Now I've had a short time to sleep and think about it.

I don't know if it's been asked before, but I'm going for "Take a picture of your bike with a cop car (or bike)." I hope it's a friendly meeting!

Sorry about the dirt but I had been riding for a while :)

OK - New challenge:

Take a pic with your bike in front of a building with a STAR on it!

Good Luck :sport12:

Breathing a little life back into this game.

What do you think, does this count as a Star?

New Challenge:

Take a picture of your bike with a long stretch of road behind it.

Nothing beats the view of a long stretch of pavement in front of you while riding :woot:

:sport12:
