Well nice job! I didn't know that the GenII hugger isn't intergrated into the chain guard. I thought they were one piece.
What did you do to your FZ today?

Leave the chain guard alone. It will look too busy and gaudy down there. There is ENOUGH Red on the bike as it is

Exactly why i was not going to paint my factory. want to be able to put it back. Still might find another and try it. Need something to do.

Got my suspension looked at.
Its pretty much at its limits, have been advised to get an R1 shock, or any rear shock thats stronger than the stockie.
Does anyone know what other yammies have a direct swap rear shock/spring to suit a 2005 Fzs1000??

I took a her out for a quick 30 mile ride. It started warm and sunny (after the rain and hail), but it ended cold, cloudy and very windy. I was in half lean to drive straight. I got her back home into the garage and tucked her back in with the battery tender. I just forgot to top off the tank... : oops: I got her a bit dirtier than I expected too. There's a good cleaning coming her way ASAP.
While I was out, I had a chance to test my iPhone with my Scala rider G4 system. How sweet it is. Music played awesome. Phone calls made at 70+ with little problem. My brother claimed he could hear me, but it sounded like someone was holding my nose. I think it was just the confined space inside the RF-1100. There were a few times I had a hard time making out what he said, but I think if I positioned the ear pieces closer to my ears it would be better.
My wife and I used them for strictly bike-to-bike communication on a 2 day anniversary trip last fall, but we couldn't get our android phones (Droid Incredible 1 with Verizon) to connect well with the Bluetooth. The iPhone works great. :noworries:

Do you know if Roy's Place is still in business in Gaithersburg? I used to live there YEARS ago when stationed at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. I still remember the Bender Schmender which was a 5 decker foot-long club sub!

Custom paint. I was going to do blue stripes on white because I didnt want to copy Patrick at Copperdawgs bike but my buddies talked me out of it.

Hey! That looks awesome! I have some GenII "FZ1" decals in Silver with the light Blue line through it if your interested. I bought them thinking they were black and white but I ordered the wrong color. If you want them, they're yours. Just PM me your mailing address and I'll get them out to you tomorrow morning.
